Breeze Airways flight changes, cancellations & booking help

Breeze does something no other U.S. airline does: the value you keep when you cancel shrinks on a published schedule as your flight approaches. Knowing the dates is worth real money. Policy details verified 2026-09-20.

Independent service notice

Flights Cheap Fare is an independent travel agency. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or an agent of Breeze Airways. Breeze Airways trademarks belong to their owner. For the airline's official channels, visit its website directly. When you use our service, we assist as an independent agency and charge a service fee that is disclosed before any payment.

Breeze Airways policy at a glance

Summary of publicly available airline policy as of 2026-09-20, taken from Breeze Airways' published fare rules, its cancellation and refund policy, and its BreezePoints and Flight Credits expiration page. Your ticket's fare rules control — we verify them before any change. For official information, see the airline's own website.

The part that costs people money

Here is the moment that costs money: the drop from 100% to 50% happens at 61 days out, long before most people start reconsidering a trip. Cancelling on day 62 returns the full value. Cancelling on day 59 halves it. If a trip is looking doubtful two months out, that weekend is the decision point, not the week before departure.

Frequently asked questions

How much do I get back if I cancel a Breeze flight?

It depends entirely on timing. 61 or more days before departure you keep 100% of the reservation as Flight Credit; 16 to 60 days out you keep 50%; from 15 days to one hour before departure you keep 25%; inside one hour, no credit is issued.

Can I change a Breeze No Flex fare?

No. Voluntary changes are not permitted on reservations containing a No Flex fare. You can cancel the entire reservation more than one hour before departure, and the sliding Flight Credit scale applies.

When do Breeze Flight Credits expire?

At the beginning of the day 12 months from the original booking date, and the expiry cannot be extended. The clock runs from when you booked, not from when you cancelled.

Do BreezePoints expire?

BreezePoints earned by completing travel expire after 24 months of inactivity in your Breezy Rewards account. They do not expire for holders of the airline's co-branded Visa Signature card.
